Plant foraging walks in Chicago
Nance Klehm will lead a plant foraging walk this Sunday, May 10, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Douglas Park. Participants will be introduced to wild or cultivated plants that can be collected for food and healing.
Foragers will meet at the Douglas Park fieldhouse on May 10. Future forages will be held on June 7, July 12, August 2, September 13 and October 11. With the exception of the June event, which will take place at Garfied Park, locations will be announced later. A donation of $10 to $20 is suggested for each walk (kids are free).
