© 2009 The Backyard Harvester		Garden Cultivation Service One home visit per week, May through October: $25 per week Occasional or one-time visits (with adequate notice): $30 A watering, weeding and assessment service for your food or flower garden is available, whether or not your garden was built by The Backyard Harvester. The full-season service can be paid for each month ($100) or all at once ($600). Each week, The Backyard Harvester will visit your garden for 60-90 minutes and check for damage, pull weeds, track growth -- even take pictures. No chemical herbicides or pesticides will be used. If the visit is scheduled at a time when no one is home, ripe produce can be left for you to retrieve (or instructions on how to pick and prepare it can be sent by email or text message). The cultivation service can be used by anyone: the person who needs someone to tend his plants during vacation; ambitious first-time gardeners who are surrounded by radishes; a teacher who doesn't have time to clean up the beds in October.
